I chose this song because I enjoyed listening this since couple years ago. And it never gets old. It uses only four simple guitar chords to accomplish the whole song. And the melody of this song is awesome as well. Everytime I watch this video, my passion about music gets stronger and stronger. They demonstrate good musicianship, though. They show an important spirit in the song, which makes the song better. The characteristics of this song is unique, they don't put lots of plots on it. It's just simply saying a couple are facing difficulities of each other. Plus, the melody matches the song. Besides, green day appear to be the first Punk band in the world. Apparently, many songs have the pretty much the same melody as this song.
